The 2018 ECA Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe European Championships was held in Belgrade, Serbia. We've chatted with some of the new European Champions. Read moreThe first gold medal of the 2018 ECA Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe European Championships went to the hands of Czech canoeist Martin Fuksa who was the best in men’s C1 1000 metres final. Fernando Pimenta defended his title in men’s K1 1000 metres event. German Nina Krankemann was the best in women’s 1000 metres final. Hungary, Russia, Belarus, Serbia and Poland also celebrated European Champion titles.

The 2018 ECA Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe European Championships will be streamed live from Belgrade, but due to TV rights limitations, countries whose television stations have bought the TV rights will be, unfortunately, geo-blocked. The following countries will be geo-blocked: Belarus, Croatia (provisional), Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia (streaming is expected to be available on the website of Serbian television), Ukraine (provisional). After the championships, when the TV rights limitations will be over, the video footage will be also available on our Youtube Channel Canoe Europe (in the first days of the following week).
