30/05/2017 - Only one day is left until the 2017 ECA Canoe Slalom European Championships in Ljubljana – Tacen (SLO) which will start with an opening ceremony in the city centre of Slovenian capital in front of the town hall this Wednesday, 31st May 2017. The races will be organised in the suburb of Ljubljana on the Sava River from Thursday to Sunday. Athletes from 23 European countries will participate in this year’s edition of the ECA Canoe Slalom European Championships.

08/05/2017 - Heavy rain in the last days of April caused a lot of concern among the organisers of the 2017 ECA Canoe Slalom European Championships in Ljubljana – Tacen. The course and venue were flooded and after the water level dropped it became clear that a lot of work that has already been put into the preparation of the European Championships over the last months has been washed away.

The training and assessment will be organised between 1 – 3 June with an aim to improve Judge's skills and certification for international competitions.

The international canoe slalom season 2017 kicked off in New Zealand. Many European paddlers who are now in the Southern Hemisphere for their winter training camps took an opportunity and competed in the first major international canoe slalom event of the year 2017 – Oceania Championships, which was organised in Auckland.
