More than 80 competitors from four countries took part in the sixth edition of the Lanzada Ocean Race. The win stayed at home, thanks to Kiko Vega who was the fastest in the SS1 elite event.
Read moreFrance, more precisely Saint-Pierre de Quiberon hosted this year’s Ocean Racing World Championships. European paddlers won three medals in very tough competition. Jorge Enriquez Gutierrez won silver for Spain in men's Junior event, while Hector Henot and Claire Dewaste picked up medals for host country. Henot finished second in U23 event and Dewaste was third in junior category.

Medallists from last year’s ocean racing European Championships have been among the best here too, but the win in men’s SS1 Elite category went to Sean Rice from South Africa and in women’s SS1 Elite category to his compatriot Hayley Nixon.
