Read moreThe 1992 Canoe Slalom Olympic course in La Seu d’Urgell hosted strong international canoe slalom race Pyrenees Cup which also counted for the 2022 ECA European Open Canoe Slalom Cup series. Monica Doria Vilarrubla took the win in women’s canoe and kayak event, Manuel Ochoa was the best in men’s K1 and Liam Jegou in men’s C1 final. Laura Pellicer Chica and Leo Vuitton were the winners of extreme slalom final.
Read moreOne of the traditional European venues for the biggest canoe slalom races in Krakow hosted another international competition – the 2022 ECA European Open Canoe Slalom Cup. Two races were held in two days and athletes from Poland, Ukraine, Netherlands, Slovakia, Sweden, Serbia and Norway were on the start line. Majority of the wins stayed in the Polish hands, while top podium positions also went to representatives of Netherlands and Ukraine.

Last year’s winners of the race in this series in Ljubljana Eva Terčelj, Giovanni De Gennaro and Matija Marinić repeated their success in 2022 too. Brazilian Ana Satila took the win in women’s C1 and extreme slalom, and her teammate Pedro Goncalves was the best in men’s extreme slalom.
