The first ECA European Championships in the season 2024 is approaching fast. The 2024 ECA Ocean Racing European Championships will be held in Azores, with opening ceremony scheduled for 11th April and race’s window between 12th and 14th April. Pau hosted the second race in the Pyrenees Cup race series, and this canoe slalom and kayak cross race also counted as the second race in the 2024 ECA Open Canoe Slalom European Cup race series. British paddler Mallory Franklin recorded two wins, while the other first places stayed in the hands of French paddlers.

Banja Luka was supposed to host the fourth race in the 2024 ECA Wildwater Sprint canoeing European Cup race series this April, however, the race has now been postponed to September. The new date is 7 – 8 September 2024.

The 2024 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships will be held in Poznan, Poland, between 25th and 28th July 2024. On 22nd and 23rd July there will be master races on the programme.
