ECA announces some differences from ICF Canoe Slalom rules

With new 2019 ICF Canoe Slalom rules that were taken into effect on January 1^st 2019 ECA updated its special rules for Canoe Slalom European Championships.

Wildwater Canoeing World Champions showed great form in Augsburg

Augsburg and its famous 1972 Olympic course hosted the third race of the 2019 ECA Wildwater Sprint Canoeing European Cup race series. Wins in five events went to German, Italian and Slovenian paddlers.

In Tacen two wins for Slovenian paddlers and two wins for Italians

The second race in ECA European Open Canoe Slalom Cup series which was held in Ljubljana – Tacen, Slovenia, brought two wins for Slovenian slalomists and two wins for Italian representatives.

Savšek and Kauzer the fastest in heats of second ECA European Open Canoe Slalom Cup

The course in Ljubljana – Tacen, Slovenia, hosts the second race of the year in the ECA European Open Canoe Slalom Cup race series. Slovenian and Italian athletes took the top positions in Saturday’s heats, with reigning European Champion Peter Kauzer producing the best time in men’s K1, 2015 European Champion Benjamin Savšek winning in men’s C1 heats (both SLO), Stefanie Horn (ITA) was the best in women’s kayak heats and Nina Bizjak (SLO) in women’s canoe heats.
