Serbian canoe sprinter Olivera Moldovan has announced her retirement from professional sport. She won two medals at European Championships in 2014 and 2015, and two medals at World Championships, as well as a medal at first European Games.

He was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer (adenoid cystic carcinoma) in 2017 and underwent failed treatments. Now he has an opportunity to be a part of a clinical trial in the US, but for that he needs funds. With this purpose a special campaign was created to help him raise the necessary money.
