Prague hosted the penultimate race in this year’s ECA European Open Canoe Slalom Cup race series. Matej Benuš, Marie-Zelia Lafont, Tereza Fišerova and Jiri Prskavec were the winners in each of the four categories that are part of the European Cup series.

French and Czech paddlers did great in Poland, winning several medals for their national team. Extreme slalom world championships for Juniors and U23 was also organised in the same week.

Read moreThe 2019 ECA Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom European Championships in Liptovsky Mikulaš, Slovakia, concluded with four individual finals in women's C1 U23 and Junior event as well as in men's kayak U23 and Junior events. It was a day to remember for Delassus family. First Marjorie Delassus claimed European Champion title in women's C1 and in the last final of the day Anatole Delassus picked up gold medal in men's junior K1 event.
Read moreCzech canoe slalom team continued excellent performances at the ECA Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom European Championships which have started on Friday with seven out of possible eight medals in team events. On Saturday four individual finals were held and Czech competitors won two European champion titles thanks to Tereza Fišerova and Katerina Bekova. The remaining two gold medals of the day will go to France with Nicolas Gestin and Yohann Senechault.
