German win at Adige Canoe Marathon

Italy hosted the 15th edition of Adige Canoe Marathon which attracted over 1400 paddlers who took part in this sporting event in kayaks, canoes, rafts and SUPs. This was the record number of participants and the win went to Germany thanks to Kroener and Paufler.

Two medals for Doriane Delassus and Emanuela Luknarova in Buenos Aires

European paddlers had much success at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires. First they won half of available medals in the head to head sprint events at the venue in Puerto Madero, and later added eight more medals in obstacle slalom competition. The most successful competitors in obstacle slalom were French representative Doriane Delassus and Slovak Emanuela Luknarova who both won medals in kayak and canoe. Slovenian paddler Lan Tominc prolonged winning streak in men’s kayak event winning third gold medal for this country in the same event.
