Auronzo di Cadore is ready to host the 2018 ECA Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint European Championships from June 26th to July 1st. More than 1300 people are expected to arrive in Lake Santa Caterina to represent 28 countries in the under 23 category, and 26 nations among the juniors.

Peschier, who celebrates his 34th birthday today (16th May), has been a member of French national team for 18 years. To announce the end of career he wrote, “Some pages require time and a lot of thought before being definitely turned. This one has told 20 years of my life. After almost 18 years in the French team, selection to Olympic Games, nine starts at World Championships, European Champion title in C2 and many medals in team events, it is official: ‘I hang my paddle'.”
