Banja Luka was supposed to host the fourth race in the 2024 ECA Wildwater Sprint canoeing European Cup race series this April, however, the race has now been postponed to September. The new date is 7 – 8 September 2024.

The 2024 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships will be held in Poznan, Poland, between 25th and 28th July 2024. On 22nd and 23rd July there will be master races on the programme.

In one month the ECA’s 2024 European Championships season will start with the 2024 ECA Ocean Racing European Championships in Azores, Portugal. Then eight more European Championships in different canoeing disciplines will be held until mid-September.

In exactly one month the 2024 ECA European Championships season will kick off with the opening ceremony of the 2024 ECA Ocean Racing European Championships in Portugal. Azores will host the championships of the Old Continent between 11th and 14th April. This will be the introduction to ocean racing year in Portugal, as this country will in October also organise the World Championships in Madeira. Before the season starts we talked with Vitor Felix, president of the Portuguese Canoe Federation.

The 2024 ECA Canoe Slalom European Cup series started this weekend with first race of the year. The first race was a part of the Pyrenees Cup held in La Seu d’Urgell. Spanish canoe slalom paddlers took all podium positions in canoe slalom, while wins in kayak cross went to Great Britain and Andorra.
