First gold medals at Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom Europeans to Spain, France, Germany and Czechia

The 2023 ECA Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom European Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia, started with kayak heats as well as the first medals events - kayak team races. In the afternoon part of the programme teams from Spain, France, Germany and Czechia won gold medals in their respective team events.

Between 27th and 31st July, the Montemor-o-Velho High Performance Center will host an international sprint competition, which will simultaneously host the Paracanoe and Junior/U23 Canoe Sprint European Championships. 35 countries confirmed their presence at the upcoming European Championships.

A little less than 300 athletes from 27 European countries will compete this week at the 2023 ECA Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom European Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia, at a very famous course in Čunovo. Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom paddlers fought for the European Champions titles here last in 2018.

Amazing comeback of Zuchora-Borgiel for the Canoe Marathon European Champion title

On the final day of the 2023 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships four medal events were on the programme in Slavonski Brod, Croatia. Polish duo Mateusz Zuchora - Mateusz Borgiel won European Champion title in senior men's C2 event, Evelin Csengeri - Panna Sinko were the best in women's K2, Quentin Urban and Jeremy Candy in men's K2, while Arpad Kekesi - Daniel Zemen won in junior MK2 event.
