In the last three years the Dutch canoe slalom team made a big jump forward, qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and finishing 7th in the K1 Women's final. In 2022 there were three finals in Women K1 major events: 7th at the Worlds, 4th at the Europeans and 5th at the World Cup Final.
