Albert Woods OBE whose mandate ended after 30 years has been named Honorary Life President of the European Canoe Association.

Spanish paddlers show power in Pau

The artificial channel in Pau hosted the Pyrenees Cup canoe slalom race, which is also the first race of the season 2023 that counts for the 2023 ECA Open Canoe Slalom European Cup. Spain took the wins in three out of four events thanks to Maialen Chourraut, David Llorente and Miquel Trave. Gabriela Satkova was the best in women’s canoe.
