In about three months the 2018 ECA Wildwater Canoeing Junior and U23 European Championships will be held in Skopje, the capital of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. Early in April ECA Wildwater Canoeing Technical Delegate and Board member Manuela Gawehn visited the race courses in Skopje together with the ICF Wildwater Canoeing chairman and committee members.

Different combinations with Saul Craviotto, Cristian Toro, Marcus Cooper, Carlos Garrote, Rodrigo Germade, Roi Rodríguez and Carlos Arévalo were tested in Trasona regatta field and the combination with Saul Craviotto, Cristian Toro, Marcus Cooper Walz and Rodrigo Germande proved to be the best. They will compete at the World Cup event in Szeged, Hungary, and ECA Canoe Sprint European Championships in Belgrade, Serbia.

There are a little over two months left until the 2018 ECA Canoe Marathon European Championships in Croatia. Early in April ECA Canoe Marathon Technical Delegate Jorn Cronberg and member of the ICF Canoe Marathon Committee Ruud Heijselaar visited Metković, a venue that will host the European Championships between 2nd and 8th July.
