Funk, Herzog, Tasiadis and Maxeiner German Canoe Slalom Champions

During the German selection races also National Championships took place in Markkleeberg, at the venue which hosted the 2015 ECA Canoe Slalom European Championships. After three days of competitions and six runs of the selection races, also German champions were known. Russia dominated Paracanoe World Cup in Hungary

In absence of some paracanoe superpowers, such as Great Britain, the only World Cup race of the year 2020 was held in Hungary. Russia dominated the paracanoeing races with a total of 13 gold, five silver and three bronze medals. Austria picked up four gold medals thanks to Marcus Mendy Swoboda and Hungary concluded the racing weekend with a total of 19 medals. Besides the 200 metres distance also the 500 metres events were introduced in Szeged.
